A note about our products: each step of the milaya-making process is done in Bidibidi refugee camp in northern Uganda. The camp varies are extreme: dry and dusty or wet and muddy. The women work while simultaneously cooking and caring for their children. All water to wash the materials must be fetched by hand. Under these circumstances, each product differs slightly and may have small imperfections. Read our return policy.
